135 players came to start in Day 1a and 128 players in Day 1b of the APPT Auckland Main Event. Out of these 263 players, 130 made it to Day 2 of the tournament. In the lead we find the Australian PokerStars Pro Emad Tahtouh with 162,900 chips. On second place is the PokerStars qualifier Lance Climo with 134,400 chips.

Tony Hachem is still in the game with a 53,400 stack. Even though he has 3 times less chips than the chip leader Emad Tahtoch, his stack is still well above the average stack of 37,669. Last year's winner Daniel Craker has also made it to day 2 of the tournament. He has 37,000 chips left, but hopefully he will still make it to Day 3 of the tournament.

APPT is a samll Poker Tour as well LAPT. It would be nice to know is the prize is bigger than the past year or not, to know if the APPT is growing or is going down.

Its being very interesting, considering the reduced number of participants and observing the names on it. Tony Hachem can be way behind the lead, but that doesnt mean he doesnt have a word at the payed places, we'll just have to wait to see the best of him!
