Great Warm-up for Antonius

Tags: durrrr, Patrik Antonius, Tom Dwan.

Yesterday Patrik Antonius and Tom "durrrr" Dwan were playing at the highest heads up tables at Full Tilt Poker. They started playing heads up which lead to a lot of speculation if this could be the start of the "prop bet" between "durrrr" and Antonius.

Later in the evening a bunch of other players sat down at the table which killed the speculations. In this case "durrrr" is probably very happy that the bet had not yet started as he ended up losing a total of $1 Million during the night out of which $900 000 was lost to Antonius.

Patrik Antonius won the five biggest pots during the session and the biggest pot was worth a total of $562 719 and it played out like this:

Before the flop there is a three bet by durrr and Antonius decides to make the call holding KHeart 7Heart and the flop comes QHeart 5Club KClub and durrrr makes a bet of $17 200 and Antonius makes the call. The turn comes 6Spade and durrrr check rasies Antonius $39 000 bet up to $156 500 and Antonius makes the call. The river is 6Heart and durrrr is all in for his remaining $100 000 and Antonius makes the call with his pair of kings. durrrr shows 8Club 9Club for a missed flush draw and an inside straight draw and the $562 719 pot is shipped over to Antonius.

HU any pair is good. And against such an aggressive monkey like durrr top pair is the nuts.

$723 938. Won by urindanger (AA) vs durrr (KK).
But if Guy continues to play, i expect even higher pots this year.

Was watching him last night on party poker, he made some daft moves, look like a novice, think he should stay behind the screen.
Funny to see hllmuth get busted, then again it always is.

Word is the HU wont happen till after the Aussi millions.

i cant wait to see the HU with Ivey vs Dwan... I want Ivey to rip him a new one. Its not that i dont like Dwan, but his overconfidence is beginning to irritate me.

The difference between this and the HU challenge is that they only played 1 table here and they will play 4 headsup table in the HU challenge right? I think it's pretty tough to play 4 HUs tables, no?

3, they played on three tables. But this pot should show that the sidebet will have no great influence on the outcome. 50.000 hands at this level will have swings of more than one million.

Definitely. 3 tables..Doesn't look too good for Dwan. Dwan said he'll most likely cancel the offer if he gets beat hard in the first 2 matches.

Some ppl in the world have to live for a year with maybe 100$, and this f.... i.... play a 550.000$+ pot with that crappy cards.. Hmmm I think they really dont know what they do. I dont call they ''PRO'S''
I call they, ''MORONS'' Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile

Cancel, dont think he can do that if he wants out he has to pay out.
Side bet and possably the rest of the blinds, but im sure they will make a get out clause at a price.

I didn't mean cancel. He said he might decline the deal from further competition if he lost bad to Ivey and Antoninus or whoever he's palying. Can Dwan back down anytime or did they already make a deal?
