HighStakes: Forget about Isildur1. He's the new super swede!

Tags: full tilt poker, high stakes, ingsoni, Isildur1, Party Poker.
Posted on 31 March 2010 by "T".

There is a swedish poker player with the nickname "ingsoni" who's running really good at Party Poker lately. "ingsoni" has won more than $500,000 at the stakes $25/$50 (highest stakes at Party Poker) in less than 80k hands. Rumors are circulating in different forums on the web that the new player is the mysterious swede Isildur1. However, many who have followed "ingsoni" and "Isildur1" for some time say that their styles of playing poker are totally different and that its not very likely to be the same person.

We will have to wait and see if the new super swede's winning streak continues and if he will try his luck at Full Tilt poker soon as well.

I would bet on the Blom again, seems kind of logic he will try different sites. Or are there really superplayers growing from Sweden overnight? Blink

Oha, the next hype. First it was Martonas. After that guy was busted, it was Isildur. Now that Isildur has blown a lot of money, the next guy comes up.

I believe it can perfectly be another person. Good players are growing up faster this times, there are lots of kids training their skills since they are 12 years old, and now that they are grown ups they decide to invest on their skills, created during their leisure times in the childhood! Whats better than that? Thank you Bill Gates, for giving the oportunity for everyone to do something profitable with the pc and the net!

I totally agree with you! I let sometimes my 12 year old brother to play with my FullTilt account some freerolls and lower buy in multi table sit&go's - hes cashed one freeroll and came to final table 2 times in 90 player sng Blink! And every time I withdraw he wants a 50% of his winnings - thats our rule lol. If he plays and I help or I play and he "helps" me, we share the profit Blink

Quite normal, among so many players sometimes a new champ comes out. Hope he won't face same difficulties of Isildur1.

I've been reading that Isildur has made a comeback lately.
Anyone know for sure?

Never understood why the secret identity... Question
 SuperNoob31/03/2010 17:08:02 GMT
it will be very hard to find out if hes isildur or not cause he might chose not to reveal his identity like isildur and it will remain a mystery.
btw 80k hands is quite less for 500k profit lets see if he can maintain this good form

It is good that there are alot of great players out there. This game can be very competitve. you have to grow in this skill game and invest in your skills.
 KalorTald04/04/2010 11:27:54 GMT
I hope polish players will be best players in the world : D
 Raggamann04/04/2010 15:48:50 GMT
nice winnings, but you cannot compare this to isildur. this guy doesn't play the highest stakes against the worlds best, and that is exactly what isildur did. maybe he would go broke in a single day when he played guys like durrr, Antonius and so on
 LaBaiz07/04/2010 07:03:59 GMT
to make 500K on 25/50 tables, that is awesome stuff, seems like a great and consistent player there to achieve this much.
