High Stakes: Hansen dominated last week

Even though the end of last week's high stakes games fell into the shadows of the news that F.B.I. closed down PokerStars, Full Tilt and Absolute Poker in the US, there were still some quite interesting high stake games running at Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars.

Gus Hansen, the Danish Full Tilt Pro, is one of the players we could thank that for! Even though it must have been a very stressful week for him as a part owner in Full Tilt Poker, he still managed to keep a cool head and play his very best game. At the end of the week, Gus had won almost $1,4 million in just about 10,000 hands and was by far the biggest winner online.

Last week's TOP 5 winners and losers online
Gus Hansen, $1 370 639
Daniel "w00ki3z" Cates, $335 217
NoPasaran, $287 526
Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky, $261 656
Abe "EazyPeazy" mosseri, $257 359

Lance84, -$570 842
David "POKERBLUFFS" Eldar, -$392 533
Patrik Antonius, -$335 728
Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies, -$332 627
Matt Hawrilenko, -$320 164

Gus Hansen won almost four times more than Daniel Crates, who's ranked in second place in the winning ranking! And the news says he was able to keep fresh head although he has a part in Full Tilt and with all that investigation starting! I think this could also have worked has an incentive for him to show players have nothing to worry about and that the problem is not with the real users of the online poker room or with normal players, but with someone who uses the machine to pass money from hand to hand without paying fees.

I'm sure Phil Ivey, Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson, Andy Bloch, Phil Gordon and Jennifer Hartman own a part of full tilt poker but i didn't knew Gus Hansen is one of the owners too. I'm 100% sure that Patrik Antonius and Tow Dwan are just sponsored by full tilt poker and not owners. As you all know full tilt poker was the biggest loser of the black friday in US, so that must have heard for all these pro players. In addition to that they can't even play on their site anymore...
Also yesterday and today Gus Hansen won a lot of money, the biggest loser these two days was gavz101, a player from London, UK that lost almost $ 500.000 these two days on full tilt poker on the high stakes cash pot limit omaha tables.
It seems Gus it's a PLO expert now Smile

Well Gus is a very good poker pro, especially in Pot limit omaha games, that is his specialty. I foresee that he will the $10 million this year profit for sure.
