"Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) has today issued Hearing Notices under Regulation 46 of its Regulations to Vantage Ltd. Oxalic Ltd, Filco Ltd and Orinic Ltd, collectively trading as FULL TILT POKER.

In addtion, AGCC has issued Suspension Notices under Regulation 47 to the above named companies requiring them to suspend all operations with immediate effect.

The decision to suspend these licenses follows a special investigation prompted by the indictments unsealed by US Attorney General's Office in the Southern District of New York on 15th April 2011, during which grounds were found to indicate that these licensees and their business associates were operating contrary to Alderney legislation. The nature of the findings necessitated the taking of immediate action in the public interest.

Date issued: 29th June 2011"

  • Register new customers
  • Accept deposits from existing customers
  • Allow existing customers to withdraw funds that are held in their accounts; and
  • Permit customers to participate in any form of poker game play or gambling transaction
The Alderney Gambling Control Commission will hear the matters contained in the Hearing Notices at a Regulatory Hearing which will commence at 10.00am on Tuesday 26th July 2011, at the Victoria Park Plaza Hotel, 239 Vauxhall Bridge Road, London SW1V 1EQ. In the even that there is a change to these details, this notice will be amended.

UPDATE 18.27 GMT

PokerStars has released the following statement:

"In light of today's news that Alderney Gambling Control Commission has suspended FULL TILT POKER's license, PokerStars wishes to assure our customers that their funds are completely safe and that our operations are completely unaffected. The Isle of Man Gaming Commission today re-affirmed that PokerStars' worldwide licensing is intact and that our operations are in full compliance with all of its requirements. PokerStars' online operations continue as normal and all funds in players' accounts are safe and available for withdrawal as usual with no delays.

PokerStars also remains in full compliance with our licenses in other jurisdictions where we are regulated, including France, Italy and Estonia.

As provided under our licensing, PokerStars has always maintained the integrity and security of our players' funds, by keeping all such funds in segregated bank accounts, always available for immediate withdrawal.

Since the actions of US Department of Justice (DOJ) in April, we have returned more than $120 million to US players and continue to act upon requests as they are received. Players outside the US have not been affected and all cash-outs have been processed without delays. Further, PokerStars entered into an agreement with the Department of Justice which expressly confirmed the company's ability to operate outside the US.

We will continue to operate as a responsible corporate citizen and are committed to serving the needs of our customers in complete compliance with our regulatory requirements."

BRM will of course monitor the situation and update you all. So far there has been no official statement from FULL TILT POKER.

Edy you might know from some of my other postings that I don´t mind to put my name on the table if it goes to discuss those things. But I really find it hard to say you are sure that these are bots from poker sites. Sure it could be. Some of us know it is cyberwar these days in most of the major networks and I also know that many people don´t care about it or cannot believe it. FACTS that I found during my own investigations are that there are many professional groups operating individual bot networks worldwide at most of the sites. These are IT-People, even maybe some employees, pirates and yes - also poker pros. Therefor all pokerrooms are working hard to prevent those criminals to flood their rooms. Unfortunately the FullTilt Software was one of the easiest to be attacked by botters and I hope they find a better working solution against it should they ever open up again. I am not going to post websites here but if someone is really interested to be informed about these behaviors - find them in the www. They are operating forums (with many thousand members) to discuss their criminal work and to make new contacts. But the good thing is - a bot can be beaten by a solid player and I wouldn´t be to much frightend to play them.

uhh.. sure.. 50% .. that is a likely figure.

On the bigger rooms Stars, Party, (RIP) FTP - sure - there were/are/will always be - BOTS. Whether or not they belong to the rooms - Well, with the big rooms - I seriously fucking doubt it. But rooms like Pitbull(RIP) and other smaller/dodgy rooms - sure - very plausible. 50% on any site ? You're an idiot to believe this figure. Or anything even remotely close to that.

Seems like you are just moaning and blaming others because you lost your money on FT.
If you can´t win on FT, well feel free to choose an other room.
But don´t blame other people playing there.

Was wondering where you disappeared to.. SO many rigtards out in force at the moment - somehow connecting dots that don't exist (between DoJ actions and their retarded theories) have been waiting for your 2c. Now piss off again.

@whamboozeled nice post, I do hope that they are able to do just that the fast track way.
@onlinejoke if you bother to read all the crap you wrote you will see how this blows a hole in your fairy land rigtardness, but I think your to dumb to figure that out.
Some of the comments in here are funny, I see those backing FT are quite clued up in what is going on then there is the "others" who make their own conclusion to what is going on.

Hearing some interesting Full Tilt Poker news from our across the pond sources.

While we’re waiting on full confirmation, the sources are solid and both points seem inevitable, so here’s what we’re hearing.

:: Ray Bitar is out. Word is that on Sunday Ray Bitar was voted out as CEO of Full Tilt. This shouldn’t come as a shocker as we’d imagine any potential investor (i.e. the Ivey White KnightTM group) doesn’t want to buy a company and have someone indicted by the United States government running it, but from what we’re hearing, it’s happened and he’s out. Backing the tip up, we’ve spoken to Tilt employees who say there has been no direct communication from Bitar since at least Sunday (although to be fair, there hasn’t been a ton before that either).

:: AGCC to unsuspend license. Some Tilt employees are being told that Alderney will unsuspend the company’s gaming license by the weekend, possibly as early as Friday. While Tilt and its prospective buyer are in discussions with the AGCC, it still seems early (to us, at least) to unsuspend the license. However, from what we hear, Tilt is preparing for it and has already moved its DNS back to Alderney.

Full Tilt Poker Public Hearing Confirmed for July 26

The Alderney Gambling Control Commission set the hearing with Full Tilt Poker representatives to July 26 at the Plaza Victoria Hotel in London. The main topic will be Full Tilt Poker's gaming license and the hearing will be open to public.

It is now confirmed that Full Tilt Poker and the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) are set to meet on July 26.

André Wilsenach, AGCC Executive Director told iGaming Business:

"AGCC’s choice to hold a public hearing in to the future of Full Tilt Poker demonstrates our willingness to act transparently and we will welcome members of the public and the media. As ever at all times, our primary concern is the protection of the player."
