It took more than 24 hours of poker action for a winner to be crowned at the EPT Deauville High Roller. Vojtech Ruzicka, from Czech Republic, overcame a field (total entries 85. 71 players +14 rebuys) that included some of the best tournament players in the world (Jonathan Duhamel, Steve O'Dwyer, "ElkY", Eugene Katchalov and many others).
Ruzicka, who has won €1.8 million on PokerStars under the nickname "Vojta_R", collected the top prize of €313,000 for taking down the tournament - the biggest cash of his tournament career!
Big prize for Czech Republic, more than €300k! I've never heard about Vojtech Ruzicka, but he must know what he's doing at the tables, battling against such big names like Elky and O'Dwyer ans being able to go against that pressure!
t took just four hours for Vojtech ' VojtaR' Ruzicka to overcome a tough final table and scoop €313,000 in EPT Deauville High Roller. Last hand : limping pre-flop, Reilly eventually moved all-in on 2h6h4dJs board with JdTh,Ruzicka made the quick call with 5c3s and once the inconsequential Qs fell on the river, Reilly had to content himself with second place and €180,000, while Ruzicka claimed the title.
Good day everyone Well thats a sweet win ruzicka !! this guy is really unknown to me ... a total stranger !!! i have never ever heard about this guy ... well that does not matter he has overcome some of the very good players in the pool ... the entries were less but a good game indeed ..
