The WPT World Championship Super High Roller with its $100,000 buy-in attracted 17 players, and four players bought in twice: Cary Katz, Jason Mercier, Erik Seidel, and Jean-Noel Thorel. However, none of the $200,000 players reached the televised final table, which begins at 4:00 pm PT today. Here are the six finalists:

Seat 1. Joseph Cheong - (picture) 1,646,000 (102 bb)
Seat 2. Andrew Robl - 169,000 (10 bb)
Seat 3. James Courtney - 1,690,000 (105 bb)
Seat 4. Steven Silverman - 1,339,000 (83 bb)
Seat 5. Daniel Perper - 164,000 (10 bb)
Seat 6. David Sands - 1,286,000 (80 bb)

Only the top 3 players will receive a slice of the prize pool, so expect it to be a very interesting final table with a lot of nerve.

1st: $1,023,750
2nd: $614,250
3rd: $409,500

Hands #32-33: Yevgeniy Timoshenko Out in 7th Place
Level 13: 8,000-16,000, 2,000 ante
Hand #32 - Yevgeniy Timoshenko (pictured above) min-raises from the cutoff to 32,000, Steven Silverman rerasies from the big blind to 90,000, and Timoshenko folds. Silverman takes the pot.
Hand #33 - Joseph Cheong min-raises UTG+1 to 32,000, and Yevgeniy Timoshenko moves all in from the hijack for 305,000. James Courtney calls from the button, and Cheong folds.
Timoshenko shows 3club3diamond, but he's dominated by Courtney's KheartKspade.
The board comes 7club7heart5spade8clubAspade, and the pocket kings hold up for Courtney to win the pot and eliminate Timoshenko in seventh place.

lot's of great player out there but my choice would be Joseph Cheong for the win. I think he's a pretty good poker player a always perform high when ivoilved in big tourney. However, what was that move from Timoshenko of going all-in with a pocket 3? still had a nice stack to make uch a bad move

I've watched that Timoshenko play many times.... He makes me think of the typical donk you would find in any of the BankrollMob freeerolls on PokerStars... Big Smile

I think one of his strategies is to annoy you by constantly babbling shit at the tables....lol... and if you're trapped heads up against the guy,....lord help you.... Big Smile

It is very rare that you make a World Poker Tour televised final table and still walk away empty handed, but that was what happened to three players on the final day of the World Poker Tour World Championship $100,000 Super High Roller event. The high buy-in tournament attracted 21 players and so only the top three would walk away with prize money at Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada.
