A lot of big names are already out in this Tournament, just going to prove that any Tournament is extremely difficult to win. Good luck to all those still participating and i await further updates

Things will be less mediatic with Daniel Negreanu out of the race, but i'm sure they will keep interesting. I guess it's the first time i read about a prize given in the end of the first day, but sure is a nice deal. Even if this chipleader don't get to the paid places (it can happen, and it's not that rare, everyone who reads poker news and plays poker knows what i'm talking about) he just guaranteed the return of the buy-in invested and even a consolation prize of more a third of that investment, which, when talking about $2,500, it's not that small!

Giorgio Medici, Hai Tran, David Forster, Bryan Campanello, Mukul Pahuja, David Chiu.
I have no idea who these people are.
Daniel Negreanu, Mike Sexton, Todd Brunson, Tony Dunst, Jay Farber, John Juanda, Phil Laak, Mike Matusow, Scotty Nguyen, Noah Schwartz, Erik Seidel, Jennifer Tilly, JC Tran, Phil Hellmuth.
Now these people - these people who the friggin way could end up going home after day one?
(Okay Jennifer Tilly shouldnt count, based on the plays I see from her - but the rest? Times taking its toll among old players)

Must be nice to knock out those guys and collect at least some of the buy-in back regardless of what happens next.

First days of these events always seem to be pretty boring from the outside, lets see what happens in the next few days.
