Jason and Natasha first met on the poker felt. On July 2016, Jason proposed to Natasha right after she got busted out of the $5,000 NLHE WSOP Final Table and they got married in November. On March 2017, they announced that they were 12 weeks pregnant.
At 11:58pm of Thursday, October 5, PokerStars Pro Team member Jason Mercier wrote on his Twitter account to let all his fans know that his wife Natasha had just given birth to their baby boy weighing 7 pounds 3 ounces (3.25 kg), and they named him Marco Henry Mercier.
Three days ago, the Mercier couple was spotted playing in a PokerStars Charity Event that aimed to raise money for the Hurricane Irma Fund. The charity event was at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Even though she is just a couple of days away from giving birth, Natasha managed to reach the final table of the charity event, settling at 4th place, securing a cash prize of $1,100 and getting a $3,500 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open ticket. The tournament organizers were able to attract around 124 entrants, who paid a $300 buy-in each in order to raise more than $55,000 for the charity.
They were in for a nice surprise of their lives two days after the charitable event, as finally their baby boy has been born!
