After a number of January window transfers Palace have not been too busy this summer. Incoming players includes Fulham centre back Brede Hangelaand and former Man United striker Frazier Campbell who arrived from relegated Cardiff. No key players form last year have left.

This time I decided to go with a manager instead of a player. After ten years total being a Stoke manager Tony Pulis left his seat on Britannia Stadium at the end of the 11/12 campaign. Having a reputation for playing an all but attractive football Pulis achieved amazing results last year with a Palace side doomed for relegation. After taking the club to safety he was awarded the manager of year award for Premier League. Can he keep the success going this season?
Summary:
Crystal Palace were odds-on to get relegated ahead of last year and didn’t exceed the low expectations during the initial stages of the season. As the season went on they started to pick up more points and with one of the strongest defences in the league they did spring a couple of surprises, especially at their home soil. Does the fairy-tale continue this year or will the famous second year struggles get to hard to overcome for Palace this year?
