Mike Tyson confirms Rules for Fight against Jake Paul

Mike Tyson has just given a huge update regarding the rules that will be set on his fight against Jake Paul, but the boxing fans aren't happy about it.

In March, it was announced that the boxing legend would return to the ring and his opponent will be YouTuber turned-boxer Jake Paul at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Scheduled on July 20, the bout shall be streamed on the popular platform Netflix. The company wrote on their social media page:

  • "It's JAKE PAUL vs. MIKE TYSON - yes, really! - in a LIVE BOXING event at AT&T Stadium you won't want to miss. Airing live on Netflix Saturday, July 20 #PaulTyson."

After the announcement was made public, fans have been wondering about the rules.

Tyson, currently 57 years old, has confirmed with Fox News that the fight will not be considered as a professional fight, but rather an exhibition under "real fight" rules.

He said:
"This is called an exhibition, but if you look up exhibition, you will not see any of the laws that we are fighting under, this is a fight.
I don't think he's faster than me. I've seen a YouTube of him at 16 doing weird dances, that's not the guy I'm going to be fighting."
This guy's gonna come, he's gonna try and hurt me which I'm accustomed to and he's gonna be greatly mistaken.
Right now, I'm scared to death but as the fight gets closer, the less nervous I become because it's reality, and in reality, I'm invincible."

Meanwhile, Paul wrote on social media:
"Whether you're tuning in on Netflix or showing out in person, whether you're team Paul or team Tyson, or whether you're a lifelong boxing fan or watching your first fight, you're not going to want to miss this event.
I could not be more excited to make this amazing fight available to all Netflix subscribers alongside the hardest hitter of all time, Mike Tyson, on Saturday, July 20th.

My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion of the world, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time. Time to put Iron Mike to sleep."

if you see my posts, they are short, so I dont get points for my posts, but like you know rules and what you can get!

In my opinion, such fights are always only for money and to attract a large number of viewers. Famous people like Tyson always cause curiosity among the audience. However, I believe that Mike's age will definitely not allow him to win this match. This is more of a show than a real fight.

He made over 400 millions during hes career and he was known all over the world before internet was even a thing. He spent the money ofcourse as fast as he earned, so not saying he is rich today, but you can not say he finally becomes famous and earns money because of this fight or because of Logan.

Wow this guy Mike Tyson. I will never forget that ear bite the years years ago when I still was a kid. I heard also this guy smokes a lot of weed LOL. Let's hope he's more chill than years ago now.

It seems that Tyson is going to be given a good fight choice, he is talking a lot before the fight, but I think that he is already at an age where he does not fight and he does it for money, maybe that could happen to him and that he young man give him what he deserves.
