The 17th edition of the UEFA European Championship, commonly referred to as UEFA Euro 2024, shall be held from June 14 to July 14, 2024 in 10 host cities.
Starting from June 14 to July 14, 2024, the greatest soccer players in the world shall gather together in 10 host cities for the quadrennial international men's football championship of Europe.
The tournament format will be the same as for UEFA Euro 2020. The top two in each of the six final tournament groups will proceed to the round of 16 along with the four best third-placed finishers.
Just like every quadrennial, there's no shortage of football-related stories as the event draws near. Do you feel confident about your favorite team's chances? Did the manager pick the right squad? Who's going to be your star player? How far do you think your team will go?
The host country Germany shall get the party started in Munich on June 14 against Scotland, and by July 14 a new champion shall be crowned.
Having the biggest capacity of any of the stadiums entered for the competition, Olympiastadion Berlin has been chosen to host the quarter-final and final.
The Italy team is the defending champion, as they have won the UEFA Euro 2020 competition.

The tournament logo is derived from UEFA's 55 member associations' flags and their colors, which assemble in various combinations, depicting the shape of the Olympiastadion roof. The famous Henri Delaunay Cup features at the centre of the logo, while the 24 coloured slices around the trophy represent the 24 participating teams of EURO.
"United by Football. Vereint im Herzen Europas." is the official slogan of the 2024 tournament. The slogan is meant to further strengthen the message of unity, togetherness and inclusion.
MATCH BALL

UEFA announced on November 15, 2023 that the "Fussballliebe" by Adidas will be the official match ball of the Euro 2024 tournament. Mostly white, the ball features black wing shapes with blue, red, orange and green edges and curves. The name is translated from the German as "Love of football." This is the first ball for a UEFA Euro to feature "Connected Ball Technology", which contains internal electronic sensors, allowing detection of its movement for UEFA match officials to use to assist in decision-making.
MASCOT

The UEFA Euro 2024 mascot is Albärt, a brown teddy bear, which was unveiled on June 20, 2023. A public vote was used to choose the name of the mascot, with options being "Albärt", "Bärnardo", "Bärnheart" and "Herzi von Bär", all referencing the German word for bear (Bär). Results were made public on 5 July, with mascot's name announced to be "Albärt", as it got 32% of the votes.
