To be played at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, the 2025 SuperBowl shall be the 8th time that the 50-year-old stadium has served as the venue for the NFL's championship game.
The game will be a rematch of Super Bowl LVII from two years ago, featuring the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Kansas City Chiefs, who are also the two-time defending Super Bowl champions, and the National Football Conference (NFC) champion Philadelphia Eagles.
Win or lose, players on both teams at the Super Bowl get paid. Each player on the winning team shall earn $171,000 (up from $164,000 last year), while players on the losing team will earn $96,000.
National Anthem and Halftime Show
Jon Batiste will sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl LIX.
Meanwhile, Trombone Shorty and Lauren Daigle shall perform "America the Beautiful", and Ledisi shall perform "Lift Every Voice and Sing". Stephanie Nogueras and Otis Jones IV will provide sign language.
The 2025 Super Bowl halftime show is presented by Apple Music and will be headlined by Kendrick Lamar, a rapper based in Los Angeles. Lamar previously performed at the Super Bowl LVI halftime show along with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and a group of West Coast hip-hop stars in 2022.

The game will be televised nationwide on Fox, live from the Caesars Superdome. It's going to be the second Super Bowl to be broadcast under the 11-year NFL television contract, which starts a new 4-year rotation between CBS, Fox, NBC and ABC/ESPN.
