Drake may be gearing up to drop his icy new album ICEMAN, but the heat around his high-stakes gambling antics is turning up just as fast.
Hip-hop media figure DJ Vlad is raising eyebrows and serious questions about Drizzy's headline-making losses on the online gambling platform Stake. In a viral tweet, Vlad accused the Canadian superstar of playing a high-stakes game of smoke and mirrors, alleging that Drake isn't actually betting his own cash, but rather using "house money" provided by Stake itself.
According to Vlad, insiders from the gambling industry have revealed that Drake may have a financial stake in Stake - yes, a stakeholder in Stake. If true, those reported $8 million losses might be less heartbreak, more brand strategy.
"These aren't real bets," Vlad suggested, pointing to a technical red flag: in regulated betting markets, massive wagers usually alter the odds. But when Drake places his flashy bets on livestream, the odds mysteriously remain the same. Vlad believes that's a telltale sign the wagers are more about optics than actual risk.

The criticism doesn't stop at Drake. Vlad's comments feed into a growing concern in the entertainment world: the blurry line between celebrity endorsements and real financial risk in gambling and crypto ventures. With legions of young fans watching, Vlad warns that portraying gambling as glamorous might be sending the wrong message.
Drake has been cozy with Stake since late 2024, frequently streaming high-energy sessions with Twitch star Adin Ross, tossing out giveaways, and teasing new music - all while spinning the digital roulette wheel for millions of viewers.
In their latest livestream, Drake dropped a major tease about his upcoming album ICEMAN, with media personality Mal claiming the project will feature a "bomb" track. While there's no official release date yet, Drake isn't staying off the stage for long. He and PartyNextDoor are set to hit the road this summer on the $ome $exy $ongs 4 U Tour.
As social media keeps buzzing with clips of Drake's gambling adventures, the spotlight is now split - between the music, the money, and the mystery of what's real and what's just part of the show.
