International Game Technology (IGT) announced that its Wheel of Fortune and Powerbucks slots awarded four life-changing jackpots, which reached a total of more than $5 million in December 2024.
Below are the lucky slot players who became instant multi-millionaires last month:
- December 5 - a Wheel of Fortune slots player won $1,494,585 on Wheel of Fortune Double 3x 4x 5x PayTM at Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
- December 17 - a Wheel of Fortune slots player won $1,426,361 on Wheel of Fortune Diamond SpinsTM 2x Wilds at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
- December 19 - a Wheel of Fortune slots player won $1,007,502 on Wheel of Fortune Gold SpinTM Triple Red Hot 7sTM at Tamarack Casino in Reno, Nevada.
- December 26 - a Powerbucks slots player won CA $2,752,530 on Wheel of Fortune Ruby RichesTM in Quebec, Canada; the record-breaking jackpot marks Powerbucks' largest jackpot awarded to date.
Since their debut in Canada in 2016, IGT Powerbucks slots have paid 61 jackpots of $1 million or more.
Wheel of Fortune slots have made over $1,200 millionaires and awarded more than $3.6 billion in jackpots since its launch in 1996.
