Posted by Administrator: How would you define "old members", so we can determine who should be given (automatic) access to vote for the closing of a poll or not?
old members would be the ones with at least 500 post im not even one of those yet ....damn well im almost sure that the best solution anyway ..... I willl get there one day or an other (not by posting any s**t that pass trough my mind)
those old members would have access to the close button guess 5 to then 10 close with be enough to close a stupid tread so with dont see it coming back never never never never neverv did I say never anyway
Never again ................................ peace to all take care

Bigfoot - last thing first. Using the bars to determine points for posting will not be possible yet, but maybe in the future. We'll see. But the thing at hand is how we can try to get some sub-admins in here to keep things nice and clean, yet allow the necessary off-topic posts and polls.
I know understand what you mean with the bars.
Problems -
Repution bar: Not many people use the , so I don't know how secure a method of measurement that is, but we can maybe try it out.
Post count: Since there's no "maximum posts allowed", it's hard to define a percentage. But maybe we could do something like:
"Your forum posts" / "Total amount of forum posts for all members" * 100 = the percentage of all the posts in the forum, you account for. In your case, it would be: 3813 / 122456 * 100 = 3.1%. Not sure how that could be converted to "weight" in bars or closing-threads, but maybe there's a way.
Frequency bar: Guess we could take the average amount of logins based on all forum members and figure out how you rank based on the average (after a formular like the one above).
