Jason Mercier took the chip lead at the final table after that he had eliminated both Shawn Buchanan and Matt Glantz. However, he was not the only one playing fantastic poker at the final table and soon he had to give way for another player. Just a few days ago i also was put away from Tony G Sunday Bike Ride with Ah Jh. Flop brought Qg 8h 6h, and my only oponent in this hand went all in. I was following him for a while and i knew he didnt have much. We were even in terms of stack and there still 15 guys to go away so we can reach prizes. I havent thought much and went all in too. He showed Qh 3c. Neither turn or river would bring me hearts or aces. I had more outs than him, but that was just not enough. Too bad for Stein too...

it a knock out bounty each time you knock out some one you earn a amount of money he got 7 so it normal that he make more money than some one that knock out 3 ppl

i was watching the live coverage and the knockout is just 5000$. But the point was imo, that it's almost like winner takes it all.

What a massive gap $450k for first place and $75K for second. Thats massive gap. Still as it was HU i could see they'll get a big gap but still much more than norm. Mercier is a class above really. I've seen him play and he can. Turn and river come to his rescue... how many times has that happened? Still gutted for 2nd, Sam Stein.....
