It's mostly skill, but the amount of luck needed to profit in the long-run is considerable, but not significant. Also, the "best" poker players in the world will always be able to be staked, so even if they go "broke" they'll still be able to compete. Most of us however have to either inject our capital directly, get a NDB or play freerolls. lol
