EPT Madrid Main Event: Alex Gomes made it to the final table!

Yesterday the 4th day of the EPT Madrid Main Event was played. After many hours of play, the 24-player field had been narrowed down to 8 players and the tournament director called it a day. If we take the three zeros from the number of chips, with blinds going up fast, we can see they aren't that far from one anothers. It will sure be an interesting final table to watch, considering it is the bigest first prize ever from this event. Pay atention to the pokerstars qualifier no third place. Never heard of him, but sure must be playing the game of his life, lets see how much is he going to take home in his pockets!

I'm sorry to see Victor Ramidin is out of competition, my money were on him since he is a great tournament player, both live and online. Not it seems the pokerstars team pro Alex Gomes is rated to be the main favourite to take home the big prize.
I actually met a lot of brazilian players on the online poker table and from what i can tell they are all very loose, so it's surprising to see a brazilian poker player can get so far on a tournament like an EPT or WSOP, but of course the style of play of some of his countryman does not mean all are the same, and i think Alex is the perfect example in this way. I also see that a pokerstars pro is on second place as number of chips but i do not have any info about him, but with a good size stack he could take down the big prize too, but as we all know situations change dramatically in this part of the tournament. I think i'll actually watch the final table live at tv since it's broadcasted in my country too, so good luck to all remaining players and can't wait to see who will take home the big prize of over 1.500.000 million euros.

Ramidin was never in the top of the leaderboard whole tournament, hes a good player but everyone needs a bit of luck too. maybe he'll have better luck in future and we'll see him on the final table soon.
