I think he meens that he can't see the reason for it but it would not bother him if his name was shown when he has his birthday. We could add something special to the forum like birthdays I have sometimes thought of watches so you could see the time in other countries or the weather but it's not so usefull just entertaining

Maybe a useful purpose from that idea would be to put the local time of each one next to the post #, so since I´m from Brasil, it could have the local time of my post in parentheses.
