You guys must be sick and tired of so many suggestions! I apologise, but ideas should always be suggested, as it doesn´t cost anything to simply speak your mind. So here´s another one.
What do you think of a link somewhere in the site, where there is a list with the names of the members who are celebrating their birthdays during the present month. So, since this month is March, we could have a list with the names of members who celebrate this month, like myself!
No need to put the day, just a simple monthly list with the names!
Also, no need for prizes or anything similar, just the name showing would be enough. Wouldn´t it be a great and fun thing?

Maybe you are right, it has nothing to do with poker. I just thought of it since companies always make a big deal about your birthday and so on. Take mine for example, it is ridiculous the amount of mail being sent to my home when it gets close to my birthday. Mail with special birthday offers from stores which I have been in the past, restaurant invitations where i have made reservations in the past and all that birthday bla bla bla. E-mails too of course.
Well, I don´t know, it just came to mind when I was reading yet another birthday e-mail. It might be a bad idea. I tried!

it is awesome ideo because birthdays are very important days in your life! and maybe bankrollmob could give someday gifts to birthdayheros...but the idea is so goos that bankrollmob staff should so this good idea and hear us

Nice idea fodz, again. I know what you mean by getting all those letters and emails. Myspace goes goes crazy when its someones birthday so maybe it could work here oh and happy birthday ( soon )

i think that would be pretty good idea... also think that bankrollmob should be able to give you something.. a lil thing on your birthday!!! just saying thankyou and have a great day... hmm hmm admin?? hahah
mines coming up to.. so better that impliment that idea the day after my bday

Right now, we would have a list of more than 2000 names each month then.... doesn't really give any exclusive feeling when having a birthday with 1999 others And the number will of course keep rising as members grow.

how about once you reach VIP status cuz really thats really the only people we no about have it for people who have over say 200 posts or so? i think that would be a good way to narrow it down?? no

Cool, so theres about 24,000 BankrollMob members..Thats cool.
Other sites send emails to people when its your birthday so I think it would have to be something like that. Coud add people to a friends list and you'll see when its your friends birthdays but than it'll like facebook so something.

I never thought of it as an "exclusive feeling", to be honest it really is just a simple case of recognition and respect. But yes, I see how having huge lists can create a "whole lotta work" instead of a "whole lotta love".

yea thats the thing one idea might branch off into completely other ideas that might not of been opened with out certain open discussion about some totally other unrelated idea so its a good thing lol
BUT im still creating a thread on or near my birthday to get some bday wishes lol so ill beat the system

You can´t see a reason for such list but you wouldn´t mind if your name was on it? How does that work? Maybe the reason such list should exist is the same reason why you wouldn´t mind it, it does no harm and it can only bring a positive feeling.
