A few days ago the organizers of the European Poker Tour revealed that there will be 3 new stops on the tour during 2012. Two of these stops, Madrid and Berlin, were part of the previous season, while Campione in Italy makes it first appearance on the tour. In total, there are 6 stops left on season 8 of the European Poker Tour. Below you can find the complete schedule for season 8:

well italy probably will be a success as well -poker market is hot at the moment there...and it's a nice country to visit when planing a poker getaway...still for me the best of the tour is definitely pokerstars caribbean adventure- man that's a holiday..lay on the beach, drink mojito, watch the babes and play some poker...

It makes all the sense that tourneys like EPT change their location regularly. This is the best way to spread the word about the game and to get closer with other pros who prefer not to fly out of their hometown (country) to participate in this tourney. This way the good publicity is guaranteed and, when the news come out with the winners at local newspapers, the beginner-to-amateur players will increase their appetite on participating in this tourney next year. I defend they should pass at least two times/years in the same location and then change to other countries to keep feeling this increase of fields from year 1 to year 2.

totally agree- changing locations does help to spread the news about the tour itself and about live poker tournaments as well... one more thing to consider is that organizers do look at the numbers and try to make the tour bigger, more successful commercially so they always are hunting for spots which would attract more players in their frame of mind...

Being a U.S. citizen and been fortunate enough to visit France, Spain and Germany a few times, I would have to say the tour look's very exciting. I would agree the Carribean is beatiful and what a way to spend time there. Always like to catch any vids / aired footage of the European Tour. Good Luck to the players and I envy them all!
