Well I was wondering what poker game you play often guys. Just to see what the people play here and have a general idea. If you want, tell us why you choose that game.
So that the question, What do you play? NL cash, Limit cash, PLO Omaha hi/lo....
Let's see If I can add a poll.
I start: I mainly play S&G, but now I'm also playing NL cash.
Lots and lots of MTTs here but sometimes I play omaha Hi Lo cash games... as it's very good if you have a rackback deal if you know how to master the game well...
I started out playing only NLH cashgames. Discovered DON's and managed to get a descend bankroll. Went up some levels and went back to playing NLH cashgames. Got tired of them, went playing PLO. Had a very bad downswing. SO now I'm back to what I know best, NLH cashgames .
But I think it's important you can play different types of poker, personally I think it will help you being a better player and to read the table better. Also you when you find a juicy tably with a lot of fishes, you can play any game they are playing.

Most of times i play SnG's because i prefer this type of thrill. Cash tables are something which i still cant understand very well after all this years. Normally i dont see players managin their chips at ring like they do at a tourney.

I used to play a lot of MTTs and SNGs. I quit with NL holdem ring games very fast. Like Fakiry said, dont understand how people managing with their chips. Now i totally swich to PLO cash game. Easy money on low limits. Some people doesnt even know, that they must use exactly 2 own cards.
Both Limit and NL, I haven't tried playing Omaha yet but am thinking of giving it a shot. Lately while playing holdem, I have been watching the Omaha tables to have a go at it sometime. I here some good stuff about Omaha and how people like it

I mostly play nlholdem, thats what i like the most and what I play better but I want to learn how to play the other poker games. maybe i´ll loose some money trying to learn some day. i also play some sit n go but i don t like it so much.
PLO & NL mainly. 2-7 lowball, just for fun. I started with PLO 6 handed DoN's a few Days ago and I'm impressed how easy it is to make money. My RIO is 90% with 40 games played, I think thats good.. lol (i play 2/5$ buyin) I know that Lady variance will visit me sooner or later, but in general I think its easy to make money with Don's.

Doomdy, what's your RIO and what is your average of hands played during a DoN? My average of hands played during a DoN is 1-5 I believe, I'm mostly the one with the lowest chips at the end, thats ok? Or is it better to play more agressiv at some point? One more question, what bankrollmanagement do you use? I think of using a 50 buyin rule, but I'm not sure yet, do you think its too tight? Sorry, I'm asking too much, but I just started playing DoN's and I hope you don't mind.

90% ROI on DoNs is unbelieveble high I ve sometin like 20% on $5 DoNs and 10% on $10 DoNs, strangely my ROI on $20 is higher sometin like 13%.
Average hands i play? I dont play many hands during a DoN sometimes 1 or 2 is enough, average i think i play 4/5/6 hands during 1 game DoN sometin like that. Bankroll management lol dont ask me i am uber nit, my bankroll is close too $20K and i still play $10 and $20 DoNs but 30/40 buyinn rule wud be fine.
Edit: becoming 5th place as a shortstack is no problem, allways watch the stacksizes very good when 6/7 players left, sometimes u can fold urself into the money, 1st payout the same as 5th so no problem being 5th.
And yes its easy to build a roll playin DoNs, look at me, i dont think i am a great player but i build and build and now my roll is close too $20K, just try to multi them like 4/5/6 tables at the same time.

I play mostly SNG and DON, but I like more playing MTT, but weekly I only 1 or 2 MTT cause they takes several hours and don't have much time every day. when I'm bored (or want to earn some points to clear bonuses )I take some shot at NL fullring cash game but I really suck I feel the same as fakiry about cash game, I should read something about it but I'm too lazy

I play mostly DONs sng , NL cash games and bounty tournaments and freerolls lol,. don't play tournaments often as i usually don't have that much free time. but when i feel bored i take a try at other games too(like to donk at omaha hi/lo ).

lol, sorry.. my brain was stacked yesterday evening (i played since saturday morning with no sleep), I was thinking about the percentage of games I won, not ROI, I mixed that up a little. won 36 of 40...
Thanks for your answer. It seems like I'm doing it the right way, but I can still improove a lot, though. About the multitabling thingy, I can play cash games with up to 40 tables easily, but DoN's...I tried to play 9 tables, but failed hard, the final stage where just 4 players left is going too fast for me.... (talking about 6 handed PLO DoN) The decisions are too important to do fast moves, imo. For now I can just handle 4 tables, I could change from 6 handed to 10 handed, but is there a difference? I feel more comfortable with 6 and I think its easier..
I will try it with 40 buyins, I also prefer a tight Bannkrollmanagement. Tight is right!

I'm still trying to find that game thats suits me the best. Started out, of course, with NL, and that went quite well. Tried multitabling, like three tables, and all of a sudden nothing worked. Discovered Limit, but I think I'm pretty much an even Steven there, except for maybe the first halv hour playing 4 tables, then I usually make a profit. But I cant seem to stop after that halv hour, and always lose it back. Now, I have started playing DoN:s, and they seem to work very well for me. I almost always end up on 5th place, or 6th. (Witch of course is a loss, but you cant win em all...)
Sit&go's and MTT tournaments. I've tried several times to play cash but, even if I had a good feelings, every time I finished to lose money. Probably because I didn't follow rules
