Pitbull poker shuts down. Owners arrested.  0
Not too sure if I can post a link but its posted under 2+2 forums under Internet Poker.

Basically Pitbull poker is no more. Many players on 2+2 suspected for months that there were superusers and cheating going on in the site. When asked for Hand Histories, the site wouldn't give what the players requested. Along with major cashout delays, the sites as good as dead.

Sorry if any of you have funds on that site. Hopefully you guys will be able to get the money out.

I got to know PBPoker via their 10$ no deposit but never deposited on that site. The 2+2 forum players say not one of them could log into their poker cilent (seeing as its shut down)

Thought I'd share it with you guys.

OHhh never played on that site and i am for that ! This is why shouldn´t play on those unknown poker sites! It´s better to stick with these well known like: FTP, PS or PartyPoker

Pitbull= Thumbs Down
FTP= Thumbs Up
BRM= Worship

I was playing there with 10$ no deposit bonus. I never like that site, so I just quit with 13 dollars on acoount. Well, now they are lost. Nevermind Big Smile

It's good to know that poker sites are not above the law but if this is the case shouldn't whichever police are responsible for their arrest be contacting all those victims to explain what has happened and hopefully tell them how to claim their money back.

they deserved to be banned forever. really sick, sites retorting to cheap tricks to earn money. it might have won them few $ in beginning but not good tactic for long term for any site

You did well sharing that info with BRM users. BRM doesnt have any bonus with PitBull, but you never know when they could be having something business talk. Even for those who open non BRM acounts and use BRM forums, this is a way to advice them. Many of us, sometimes, would like to have another room to play besides our normal rooms, just to have a different one, and many forget the risks of an unknown and uncommented room. Its better to be tired of the same old presentation and table graphics or themes, but feeling safe knowing that our money isnt being part of a scheme...

There's a Michael Vick joke in there, somewhere... give me a minute... Evil

I remember just after i got the $10 free at Pitbull, that i read reviews on the site saying they unfairly delayed or denied withdrawal requests from players, and that they were downright shady.

I always run with the notion that a flash casino/poker site is probably not trustworthy.
If the site was, wouldn't they devote a bit of time and money to create a more secure platform, and maybe even their own client.

Meh, not surprised.

Wow thanks for posting this. If always difficult for players to know if these "new sites" are trustworthy or not.

Would be usuful for the community make a list with recommended and not recommended sites, so people like me could decide easy where to put or not his money.

Gl.
