Crazy indeed, I guess your opponents thoughts when entering the hand must have been, "My best chance to win this pot would have to be a flush."
Well, he gets top pair on flop with no kicker, becomes scared on turn with overcard, gets paid on river with flush out. Basically an idiot! But others people mistakes don´t justify ours.
Entering play with 97off is a bit too risky for me. Once again after flop, not much I could say, by turn you had a made hand. But you can´t forget that you still have 97off!
You did things right as usual, after flop, but the problem I think is pre-flop. Most of the times when going in with hands like those, you will feel tempted for see more cards, because most of the times you will definately get a piece of the board, but you have to remember that you should reserve that for when you receive freec cards to see if you can hit anything big on flop... other than that I think it´s slow suicide.

Thanks for posting again!
ya the thing is that im a very aggressive player at the table, i made a move for the blinds cuz there was a limper and another guy who was posting (which was the guy who beat me) that was why i made the move, not tryin to hit my cards but to take the pot down, but i went all in on the turn wit the nuts and he calls me with a gutshot, 2nd pair and a flush draw with 1 card to come, which i dont know if i would make that call, i wouldn't even of called the $5 preflop with pot odds, and w4444x yes i did stay at the table and ended up gettin KK and then AA back to back and i doubled up twice and left the table so i got my money back and some, so i wasnt that upset

I like to see that you sometimes play such hands. If you don't do that too often, you'll get some nice pots because people don't expect you to have that hand.
Though I think that the $5 raise pre-flop is a bit too much. When you are going to play hands which are not that good, I would just call pre-flop. If you hit something on the flop: nice, if you hit nothing on the flop: okay, next time better. But this way you don't lose much money by playing lower hands.
This hand you did get something on the flop, a draw. Actually you played this hand pretty good. Just called your draw, immediately raised after you hit your straight. I think you just got bad luck here.

i can only tell u:_
Why u try to steal blinds, when that much people before limped? Why u make all in @ turn after his bet? ofc u had a straight but u had not the nut-straight and there is a flushdraw. Did u bet for protection? I think ur enemy showed that he would not fold his hand.
SRy but badplay as far as i think. n addition u had badluck. but in fact u should not have such a situation becouse u fold preflop.

OK well im a fan of stealing so no discredit their, but u raise pre flop u get the best flop you could of hoped for why not re raise? Other than that you turned the 2nd best card, you got your money in with the best hand, no fault u got rivered bad luck. Also dont play 97 lol
