I tend to avoid satellites as you have to commit to more tourneys in advance but I am sometimes tempted if the site offers good value in the satellite, added money etc. I guess they are good if you want to play a higher level game for a low buy in. Partypoker has the fifty seat frenzy structure and loads of freerolls and micro-tourneys to get into it but party poker takes such a high rake anyway, there are probably better sites. I think that bwinpoker has some pretty good value satellites if you can catch them at the right time but the best is probably full tilt where you can use your points to enter and there are numerous qualifying sngs all the time.
