It's too complicated to give points for facebook fan or twitter follower. The only way I see it happening is that we set up up a page where you enter your facebook/twitter username so we can confirm that you are in fact fan/follower, but:
1) It requires a lot of work from our end, both in the beginning but also to verify each one. 2) No guarantee that you will not just unsubscribe (fan/follower) after receiving the points. 3) No gurantee that you will even use those services (Facebook/twitter) to keep yourself updated.
So right now, it's not something we consider offering
