ok Assuming youre playing for not that much money(<$10 buy in lets say) you should definately shove. There are all sorts of donks out there likely to call you, like the one i was talking about who called (in a 100NL cash game) with A4
First hand nobody knows anything about you and if you shove straight away they probably think you're an idiot shoving with anything and can therefor they could call you with anything.
Also on top of that , at least you have the satisfaction of knowing that you got you're money in there when you know that it was good
If you are talking about higher buyins well obviously there are less donks and so this move won't be as effective. But I would still probably di it anyway

On low limits SNGs or MTTs you dont have to worry about callers. Even if you push allin!. Generally I raise preflop 5 - 6 BB and dont care what happends. If everybody fold OK, if I get 1 or 2 callers, perfect. If someone is brave and reraise me, even better.

I tried squeeze strategy on low limit MTT on party poker.. didn't work, always got at least 2 callers.
Third time i got aces in BB, there were many limpers before me. I decided to go all in and again got 2 callers.
So, perhaps going all in in early stage of donakement is more EV+ than raising 3xBB and getting 5 callers. There is always some donk who would pay you.

If it suited thhen shove for sure Outherwise raise, re-raise, re-re-raise to all in. Playnig AA pre-flop is easy playing post is were the problems start.
LOL first hand huh.. so im guessing blinds are still 10/20, id prob raise it to 100 & just hope that tthat triggers an all in frenzy, ive seen em happen plenty of times at the lower limits where im holding aces or kings or even queens put in a provactive raise & it starts an all in frenzy and get 2/3/4 callers, yes ive had some bad suckouts but most the time my PP's hold up & i come out of it with a moster stack and just chill on it till the table has calmed down a bit (since at the lower stakes its hard to bully the table early without somebody getting their chips in) I was once in a big MTT on ipoker & got aces about half way thru the tourney, bear in mind i had been card dead the whole way through & due to a couple mistakes i had less than 10BB's and Q of almost 0.3 lol.... well i pick up aces push all in, get 5 callers!!!! Severall pocket pairs, ranging from high to low & AK AND AQ! Well very luckily my Aces held up & that huge boost propelled me onnto the final table and a 2nd place money finish

I would fold to start building a tight image at the table.
Nahh standard raise x4. If you find too much oposition on the flop, turn or river, just try to keep the pot low. Nobody who plays good poker will keep calling in the first hand of a MTT with less that a 2 pair or a set.

I remember once when I was playing on PP @ $0.50/1 using the $50 free I got with p***********y and I pushed ($70) with JJ and someone called me with A4 . . . ridiculous. He had a full stack as well!!
1) Anyone who goes all in first hand with AA when no one else has raised before you deserves to get beaten
2) If you had $70 and you were playing 50/$1 games you deserve to lose for having such poor bankroll management
3) If you shove all in pre flop with JJ you deserve to get beaten

i would say it actually depends on what you think about your oponents at the table. their hand range. all in is the best move if you are sure you will get a caller. if not then a raise of half stack size could give you more chances on getting a caller or raiser.
