If you can make the money by simply sitting out, the other players do something wrong. Maybe an option in the wildest freerolls but not in normal tourneys.

I wouldn't be actively 'sitting out' of anything. But if I see it in my favour I may fold everything except AA/KK if I have good reason (deep stack in DoN for example) or short/small stack on bubble of a large field MTT. But ultimately.. sitting out can only get you so far. And I would tick any box for it cause I don't like auto-folding AA/KK

As long as your halfway decent you should never sit out. You should have the patience to play slowly at the start of the tourneys. If you can't do this you shouldn't really be playing in them.

activelly siting out is the cleverest play in this tourney because u can get really good hand like JJ QQ KK AA or AK or AQ and try to get yours money grow up if only sitting u fold out automaticly just use given cards 4 u to stay so far as u can in this tourney or maybe and win it
Sorry for question but I am not sure to have understood well. There is a tournament in which you can avoid to be busted simply putting yourself '' sitting out '' ? Are there not fast growing BB ? How many people can go ITM ?

I found this an interesting format. Something new and weird but I would like to play a tournamnet with this structure just to have the experience. About player sitting out on tournamnets I don't think that could be a smart tactic. If you don't want to get involve in any hands jus fold everything but do not put yourself sitting out. If you are just folding you can still receive some walks and blind from the table, wich will not occur being sitting out.

like the tournament format but if u make a mistake in the beginning you are out. that's why most people are sitting out and play in later parts of tournament, but if they are winning by doing this then those who are playing must be playing very bad imo
