The Players only bonus is still active. Big bet poker would be possible for players from the US too. The other poker rooms on the list do not accept players from the US.
edit Of cause Full Tilt accepts players from the US, but does not offer a no dep bonus for them.

The US implemented some law against online gambling. After that a lot of the sites pulled out of the US market. Party for example lost their No. 1 status.

Yeah, Obama was supposed to lighten all these laws so as to let people do what they want with their money, but it doesn't really look like he's done anything at all, surprise surprise
The political party of the time ( fuckin BUSH) pushed through their homeland security measures. If you follow american legislation, senators are allowed to add addendums or attachments to the bill. ONE of your senators tacked on an anti gambling clause that prohibits poker sites from accepting currency from US players. Several pro's have gone to great length to get this law stricken or ammended (Annie Duke, Greg Raymer,Mike Sexton to name a few)with the help of some sites like FTP and Poker Stars. As of yet, nothing has been done by the government to overturn the law and may be years away. There's alot more to the story and I'm sure that you can find it on most pokernews sites.
