Mate, i feel you. Last night i was so so hot, hitting everything, drawing out on sets, rivering flushes & full houses, everything was going my way. But today..... Cant connect on any flop for the life of me, played nearly 2000 hands & pretty much broke dead even lol Nearly everytime i had AK, there was a big pair out there, AA, KK or QQ & i lost pretty much every flip. Everytime i had AQ, there was AK out there. Thanks to a couple of fishes i got paid off on a couple of 2 pairs, but that was it, no lie. What an exhausting day, only to make... nothing. Man i need a vacation

Too bad it is a little late for searching for a job isnt it ? (I REALLY do think you have a job already btw ) Being 50 years old and searching for job is like playing poker ... you will be run over and eaten by younger force. Flipping burgers at a hamburger grill is never shamefull , its a job and poker is not imo.

it cant always be about winning ... Some times if you play well and make good/sound decissions you can take a little pride away from the tables aswell even if you havnt won just not loosing you entire bankroll as many have in the past can be a result (in my eyes anyway) Ive been there,,, walking away with 0 is hard to swallow for sure. A few good laydowns and reads that are correct ...you need to spot the good in your game aswwell as the bad beating yourself up can only spoil the enjoyment of playing well, that said it only takes 1 bad decission to ruin the whole thing. play well for the whole time your on or risk the sadness that comes with loosing.
