We've recently seen the biggest online pot ever - over $1.2M between Patrick Antonius and isildur1. I was wondering what the biggest online pot you guys have ever witnessed, while playing at the table? Size is relative so I'm talking BBs here not necessarily dollars.
Two months into my poker career is was still playing on Boss Media, sat at a 10NL 6-max table, when the following pot developed. I raised preflop and all 5 players called. The flop came 9-9-K with 2 hearts.
I bet out as I had AK for top pair. MP1 called and MP2 raised. LP called and button called. I also called.
The turn was the 10 of hearts thus completing the straights and flushes. I checked, MP1 bet out and MP2 raised. LP re-raised and everyone called apart from me!
The river was a dud and it went check check, but LP managed to get in a value bet which - again - everyone called. At this point the pot consists of almost all the money at the table (apart from mine!) totalling over 50 euros.
At the showdown, MP1 showed a flush, MP2 showed KK for a fullhouse. As you can probably tell, LP showed pocket 9s and flopped quads. He took down the entire pot and promptly left the table.
I don't blame him.. a profit of 4 buyins in one hand is a good day for anyone.
Lol thats pretty sick to have the whole table betting into you when your holding quads! Dream scenario! I played a huge pot earlier 2day at 25nl, both me & villain were deepstacked at 200BBs after doubling up. I had AK on BTN, raise up & get reraised, flat call since i have position, not the best flop for me but decent - TQ6r.... villain bets 2/3rd pot, i decide to make a pretty loose call & peel 1 off to hit my gutshot since I have excellent implied odds, turn is a beautiful J! Nut straight! Villain bets just under pot, i reraise & he reraises me back! Im thinking most likely he has a set, prob QQ's/TT's, but maybe AA's or Kings or maybe even 2 pair. At this point we both have almost half our stacks in the middle, so this pot is big right now. The river is a total nightmare, the board pairs with another J & i feel sick since i'm pretty much certain to be behind most of his range esp after he puts on a decent sized value bet but i make the crying call to find he has 66's for the rivered full house Left me with about $13 from $50+ before the hand, but i came to the table with $25 & i know i played the hand okay so i didn't feel that bad, it just sucks to get coolered!
