QUESTION:
The player under the gun raises to 1,000 and the player to his left comes over the top, pushing all 4,000 of his chips into the pot. What should you do?

of course fold, even with AQs you would think about folding here, unless you play with big donks you are nearly sure that either raiser or caller (or both) have a monster and unless you have at least AK, you can't really go all in in this situation.

This is exactly the kind of stupid poll that the forum can do without. Ones that have no thought or logic behind them, and are simply there to try and earn a few extra points. Then you get loads of people doing exactly what yourself and so many others complain about. They just answer them blindly.. Anyone with half a brain would have spotted the stupid mistake.. A mistake no one with half an ounce of poker sense would miss.
If no one speaks up, then they wont ever stop will they... We'll just get more and more of these polls which offer nothing other than a few extra poiints. 18 people have voted. Voted on a poll thats utterly worthless.. You tell me why that is ?
Or should we just be nice and spare peoples feelings, and tell them what a wondeful poll they have created, just to keep them all jolly happy people..

No argue about that pretty worthless poll yeh true, but again so many rookies here trying to learn the difference between 1)pushing allin, versus b) calling an allin. So many players here think its exactly the same. So many dont know wots a cbet/2nd barrel/position ect i cud go on forever.
So i was just sayin, you can spot millions off poker writing errors on this forum, no need to shout it out loud, many rookies want to learn and really think AJs is a good hand worth a risk to call an allin.

I am not arguing about your logic. your point is 100% correct. In this situation you want to force the issue not be forced into it.
The argument I have is the OP hasnt thought the options through before creating the poll. Hes given three options when only two are available and now 18 people have gained 10 mob points for voting in a poll thats utterly ridiiculous, thus costing BRM $1.80...
Thats what annoys the living hell out of me. Each stupid poll like this that people reply to costs BRM money. Money that could go to far more worthwhile causes. Like better promotions or better bankroll offers. Things that would really help members who want to learn.

I dont see it as stupid, OK yer no need for Call/allin its call or fold. But its obvious that he is a noob and is woundering what to do with this hand. For most its an easy fold but some like OP must have Qs about it. Also theres no Middle/Late position, its either late or mid. Yay now im a PRO.
