for a time ago i played a sit n go tournament. 2 players were in the pot before me 4x big and i got Kn-10 suit i called, then the flop came 8-Kn-3 off i raised 70% of the pot one player folded and the other went all-in i thought it was a bluff so i called. Did i do a misstake or not?
the player had a-q and got a ace on the river so i went out of the tournament.

I think it even was a mistake to try to see the flop.
as u said u were in early phase u should try to save ur chips and not to fight for some ....xd
even if u had hit the king u had a very low kicker with ur 10. i think it was not a good play. i would have folded preflop! especially in a sng.
if u play this hand and if u dont fold it preflop i would make a bet like urs of 70% of the pot only if there is only 1 player left. dont know how much chips u had left there and how big the pot was as i think that it was early phase. but i i would have bet the 70% of the pot i would fold after the reraise. u just have a top pair with mid kicker. nothing more.
Hoped i could help u a bit.
------------ sry for double post but u should read this:
Early limits Level 1 and 2 (10/15 and 15/30).
In the early limits, you have to play only premium hands like AA, KK, QQ, AKs, AK, from early positions. These are the only 5 hands worth risking your whole stack. You can also play hands like 10-10, AQs, but don’t risk all your chips on them. Limping in the late position with hands like 3-3, 67s, when there is several callers, is also a profitable play. You have a good chance to clean out a big hand, who has limped in early position. Remember however not to risk much without the nuts. And, as a rule with small pairs: “No set, No bet “. Don’t try to bluff on this stage!
if this a 9-10 seated SNG you play wrong i think but at 5-6 seated where you should see a lot of flops and do some good moves it's play ok you lose that hand but you play right i think
IT'S IS THE NO SCRIPT LAW OF THE BLOODY RIVER. I HAVE LOST A LOT OF HAND AGANIST LUCKY PLAYER THAT WIN ON THE RIVER. IT'S THE GAME AND YOU CAN DO ANYTHING . YOU WIN THE NEXT TOURNAMENT, DON'T WORRY
Early phase you dont see a flop especially if u have a stack. Even if hes loose it still aint worth the gamble. You hit top pair now what u no that he has raised and must have something. U bet and he raises all in. Only thing u are beating is a semi bluff at best eg ace high/draw/ under pair otherwise your in a disgusting position. Them plays lose in the long run and in tourney play you aalways need the upper hand so luck does not come into it.
