I had times when i was bored with poker, usually when having a break even streak. Try to improve ur game, search for leaks so ur stats get better, poker isnt just playin ur cards, its more then that, it helped me for my boredom.

If you are bored, then just quit. If you ever get the itch to play back, poker will still be there. Don't just say "I'll quit for X time", because after X time you may still be bored...just quit with no expectations and that's it

Had the same feeling until now for two or three months. Then it's better to not play poker at all till you get the feeling. After a 2 months break I'm more ready than ever!

Variace hit me yesterday. I also found some leaks on my game so I diceded to take a rest today and may be tomorrow, and starts again. May be that is what you should do. Just take a rest, I think to stop playing is little drastic.

Doing what u need to do, is the best option. Take a little vacation or work little harder make ur feeling better. Its work for me. Poker is not everything.

I'd say - take a break... if after a while you still can't be bothered playing poker - move on to something else...

Play less , do other things more often... When u do one thing all the time it's getting bored ofc. When i am playing poker i always play like 1h then some game like counter strike (fast and without much thinking ^^) then after hour of that game i play back poker or something like that. I hate playing more then 2h in a row (not counting some tournaments... but if i play them i always watch movies along with it)
Do anything else besides poker for a couple of weeks and the itch may come back. Everyone goes through these swings. I know I'm going to take a break soon, I've been stuck at my current limit for far too long and frusteration is setting in, so a short break is in order.

if you are getting bored take a month long break and then play poker. break will help u concentrate on your life for some time(if you are playing a lot). no use playing if u don't feel like, u'll just end up gambling.

Its very difficalt when you game gets you down.. I have this feeling every now and again but you need to get through it and get your mojo back. A break would not be a bad idea but dont go to long or you might forget all the everythings you got in to for. DONT LOOSE THE LOVE

Its time to make a break and as Doomdy says, just try to improve your game : look your mistakes, look your strenght, read books,... Poker is hard, never easy, even for very good players, so hold on

Most players who get bored are losing players (no offend i dont know ur stats...). But its true many players who are losing money get bored or complain ''poker is rigged'' ect. Wud you be bored if your winning loads off money? I dunno if this is the case, can only speak in generall. I had once a bored period, when i check my stats i was having a break-even swing during 1 month i got crazy

just try to do some brake and no keen on some games playing with cards just play some shoting or just riding simulators some sport maybe for more relax . and after 1 month u be like crazy again on playing poker good luck for u relax more from cards
