imo opinion it depends on the stakes if poker is a luck game or not ... anyone can beat phil ivey in a playmoney tournament, but put a couple of thousand dollars of your own money at stake and its a whole different game !

there is a lot of logic involved with poker, i mean you need to know how to work sertain thing out ie outs percentage's and odds (what ever way you do it) so to be able to think logicaly is an advantage for sure but poker isn't logical and every poker player will see that logic happens in a set way a pattern if you like ie its logical follows the natural path. Poker doesn't do that... no no no poker is a different mistress every time, RNG's put pay to logic thats why you can get run over with AA You need to feel poker as well as think poker, you need to adapt to differing situations as well as change your style from time to time with all that going on how can it be logical? I give to you that there are logical things in a game of poker, like you have the nuts you will win That makes perfect sence to me! But if you dont have the nuts you can still win. If you have the same hand you can still win, just the same as if you have the worst hand you can win. How can that be logic/....it cant Good thread.
