Just played a $100 Sit 'n' Go ....
4 players left, blinds are 100/200 I'm dealer and get dealt Ac Kc:
I raise 600, others fold except BB
Flop: 10c Jh Qc
I bet 950, BB calls
Turn: 3c
I bet 1250, BB calls again
River: 3h
I bet 1750, BB puts me all in, 450 to call.
This pot will see me right. He'll be down to 350 chips, the blinds will kill him, and 1 more person to cash and me being chip leader... I call
He shows 10s 3d!!!!
How can you justify all those calls with 10 3 from BB??????
I flop a str8 he has bottom pair. I hit a flush he has 2 pair, bad ones at that... Then the lucky sod hits his Full House on the river leaving me high and dry and has the nerve to say I play bad poker!
Would you have played it any differently? I am beginning to question my play on that hand, I play bigger buy in's to stop seeing this type of action.....

just a bit differently, though i would have put him on maybe pocket Q's or pocket J's after that call on the turn. I would have thought that he was hoping for QQQQ JJJJ or QQQJJ JJJQQ. I think i would have checked on the river as the board paired. I don't know how he played before that hand, but if he played that loose al along i'd probably do the same as you, if he played a bit tighter before i would have definitly checked on the river

I personally thought I played it right but to end up losing with that, and then for the sucker punch of being called a bad player starts to put doubt in yourself. I suppose I just needed a little pick me up and re-assurance on that lol. I've had some bad beats in my life but this has to be one of the ones that will sting for a while lol. I must admit that's the worst Sit 'n' Go play I have seen on any online poker room with high buy ins, you generally see it in the $5-$10 or less but not $100! Oh well back to the tables and get my buy-in back lol

well good luck on that then! And i'm not saying you played it wrong... just saying that i would have checked on the river if the guy was playing tighter before that hand simply because the board paired. Anyway, he was very stupid to call you a bad player. You hit your flush on the turn and with those 3's on the board you could have held 10-10 J-J or Q-Q, giveing you a better full house , so he should have folded. pre flop he had trash and should have folded. on the flop he had a pair of tens with a trashy kicker and two bigger cards on the bord so he should have folded on the turn he had two pairs, but with the three clubs on the table you could (and did) have a flush, so he should have folded on the river he had a full house 333 10 10, but you could easily have had a better full house so he should have folded.

Out of the 4 players left, we were both quite well ahead, he was leader by just over 300 chips, me second, the other 2 in the 1,000's... I was playing the table quite tight, so if he was watching me play he would have seen that. I do change my plays, so he may have been at a Sit 'n' Go with me before where I have played loose, but never have I tried to steal to that extent. If I get called on loose play, I don't normally chase or try to fold people out at these stakes, I try a taster bet and if it gets called I stop dead! Man he must either work for Poker, been very drunk, or not have a clue how to play poker lol. Ah well, the game has its up's and downs... and downs... and downs...

You cant explain some one elses acting .. its trully imposible he could be on tilt or so or MB he tho you are bluffing or so .. mb he just wanted to go out with his GF .. you never know ..
