You would need to contribute $5 in rake in as many hands as it takes.

I don't really like the whole Party Poker Tongue , comparing to others Poker Rooms it's just poor.

i found it not too bad when the old system was in place points for hands played but now if you play low stakes it is near impossible to get your points ticking over at a nice rate.

Yeah, I'm all for dealt rake/points rather than contributed....I guess contributed works for crazy players or tourney-only, but not for me Sad

yeah! brm has a real cool gift offer to deposit only $25 with partypoker for a $50 gift. but to qualify for the gift you have to earn 5 party points. now heres my question. even though ive looked at the party poker "how to earn points" tab im all confused. call me stupid if you may, but can someone please tell me if 5 partypoints is a good deal or a bad bargain. and also at what stakes i may have to play with my $25 to get the 5 points FAST!

It definitely is, but I guess the OP was asking that because of the bonus offer. Party's bonus offer is definitely much easier to clear than other sites that are more generous with their points systems..
