New No Deposit Bonus!  +2
Wot u think about the new style No Deposit Bonusses?
U get a starting roll but u can only play at low limit cash tables or low stakes SNG/MTT.
I think its the best thing they ever cud do, big +1 from me.
Many people see free money as just a gamble, playing NL50 with $25 and double or busto in 30min.
To prevent these spewdogs i guess the pokerrooms have no other option then limit the stakes u can play.

So from now on u have to play with better bankrollmanagement.
So from now on busting a roll is harder then before.
So from now on problably pokerrooms benefit more from all average players using this NDB.
So from now on rooms are much happier to giv this NDB too BRM.

So.... Problably BRM get more NDB in the future Thumbs Up

So, wots ur opinion about this ne style NDB?

I think its good too. Although if someone increase bankroll to the point which allows bigger stakes what then? Will support remove these limitations? I cant get it so I don`t care that much but definitely move forward.

EDIT: DUNOTRA! DUNOTRA! DUNOTRA!

Just for the record - this is not something we came up with, it's simply part of the 888 offer. But it might be a good idea cause it will make it harder for people to go bust too fast.

Predobar - I believe that you will be allowed to move up in stakes according to your bankroll, but it's also possible that you'll get access to the "regular client" after a period of time, I'm not 100% sure about the details, sorry.

It shoulds good, forces people to have a more strict bankroll management. The poker site software must also support limiting people from playing higher stakes.. so far i think no software does as far as i'm aware.

ALso, DUNOTRA PLZ!

Its a good step forward, for both the rooms and the players. But also for the regular players, that are less often confronted with "Kamikaze NDB Noobs" Big Smile

WE WANT DUNOTRA BACK! (can't we just trade him for GabeKaplan?)

other people are mad because they didn't get 8 $ free from 888.com and others threat 25 $ like s**t...

best thing they did yet
force to manage your bankroll
and avoid donks on higher stack where they just dont deserve to be yet Worship Thumbs Up

if this system is attached to the no deposit bonus then i like it, but if it continues to apply all the time the player plays then he is limited to several limits, and not able to play at his own choosing.

I like this! i had already seen this scheme in some other site (don't remember which), it seems a great idea to prevent spewtards and people losing their roll in an hour

Pehaps this new style brings problems to some players who like to try big money events right in the begining, but no depositbonus should be understood as the MP3 of poker: you can try it and, if you like it, you can buy it, which means you can make your first deposit to play however you want. Its well done this way! And lets hope that what you said of BRM having more NDB with this new have become a reality soon Big Smile

I've always viewed NDB's as a trial offer anyways. The amount offered @ most sites are too small to be used effectively at anything other than micro stakes. If u don't like the site, than no money out of your own pocket and u get a sample of what the site is about.

Yeah. That's really a good invention and the rookies cannot bust their bankroll in only one game. Maybe the ndb offer will be more attractive for the networks again...

It's a good idea only if this means more ND offers from poker sites with better inicial bankroll. Tongue

Thumbs Up

yeah thats really good for people like me,
who get pissed up on a friday night and blow there bankroll this will be much harded Smile

actually i always bust my roll on these microdonkaments Big Smile
nevertheless i think its OK, and if you deposit then you may play any limit i bet.

Yeah i see this is a good idea and will help many concour the bankroll management a little easyer.
Maybe i wish i had done this before i got my desire for the bigger game.
But still being limited to my bankroll would possibbly stop me playing all together.....well at least at that site.

that BRM software sounds like a pretty neat idea.. Curious though, how many (100BB) Buy-ins does it require you to have to unlock the stakes? And does it take into account the different buy-in amounts required for SNG, MTT, Limit Holdem vs NL Holdem, PLO etc??

Anyhow, I'll have to pass up this offer for one simple reason, my dad and his partner sometimes play 888 since they run the pub leagues around here (888 do) and the software they use is total crap. It is buggy as hell and horrible to use. Unless they brought out decent software I'd avoid 888 like the plague.

I thi!nk you arr absolutely right. This new style makes people CARE about the bonus they get, AND they will learn more about keeping a good bankroll management, instead of going both fists forward like in the past, just to make a quick gamble and earna quick bux. it was free money, so nobody really cared about the value.
This new rule is far better, you're right !
