More and more pokersites use software that will only run on Win XP or even Vista and higher. Sofar I didn't find a site that supports Linux.
Today I tried to download Euro-poker and was told off for using Win-ME. I want to switch to Linux and give MicroShit the finger, but it looks like I have to give up on poker then.
So now I am wondering: Which Operating System do you (mainly) use?
1. Vista 2. XP 3. Win 7 4. Mac 5. Win 2000 / NT 6. Win ME 7. Win 98 8. Win 95 9. MS-Dos 5.0 10. Other (please name below)
Blast, pressed the wrong button can't edit the poll I'll create a new one Admin can you delete this one?

Unfortunately I use Vista; it wasn't my choice but I found it in pc I bought last year Yes, I know I could download obuntu for free and use it but I'm too lazy to do it
Windows 7. I used to use Vista until recently it started to make my computer run maaaaad slow even though i got 4gigs of ram & high end processor, it still struggled. Anyway i upgraded to windows 7 & the difference in speed is sick

MacOS on my MacBook, a not-so-legal MacOS in one of my work computers (an Intel with the MacOS you can get over the net), Ubuntu Linux at the other computer at work. And I have an XP box at home though my gf uses it mostly. I do have XP virtual boxes in the other machines though

I try a lot of Windows begining from version 3.11, 95, 98, ME, 2000. But the most I liked XP I think at moment its the best from all versions. and I dont like Vista. But of course this is only my opinion.

No fair, I get a when at the time the other thread was more popular. Fair enough it should continue here now where the poll is but at the time the poll only had two options so I figured it would be deleted. Admin you always seem to edit things to make me look like the fool. lol
Anyway of the windows os my favourite was probably windows 2000 but as I said in the other thread I am now a committed mac user however awkward that makes it for me to play poker.

Posted by m0n0: You can always try using emulation software. Eg. Have Linux as your host, then install VMware or alike and then create a virtual XP/Vista/& or whatever OS you need.
Hmm, does anyone know more about this? Sounds like I would not have to buy stuff from MicroShit. I have no experience with VMware / virtual OS.
Btw, thanks Tony, for sorting out my mess, must've had 1 too many
