On February 8, it was once again time for another session of the durrrr challenge between Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonius. This time they played a 883-hand session. Tom Dwan crushed Antonius this time, taking a total of $315,000 from him.
One of the biggest pots of the night was played out this way.
Antonius opened on the button to $1200. Dwan three-bet to $3600 and Patrik called.

dwan is gaining slowly on Patrick and if he doesn't win some back in next sessions this challenge might be decided early and he might succumb to pressure

Dwan big back after the big loosing at the end off 2009 in only 2 months he loose more then earn in all the year now much better start off this year maybe he will back his money

Tom Dwan had a minor downswing last year but I think this challenge confirms he is a good HU player. As a member of Full Tilt team, he can afford occasional bad beats.

Patrik is going to win the challenge, it doesnt matter how it looks now. Dwan will probably play very tight now so the number of hands are increasing safely, but the gambling gene in durrr will soon take over and crazy play starts, then its a steep hill down for him and Patrik wins it all.

Yeap, durrr is my favorite player I am for him, but Antonius is great player too.. Will se who will win becouse 1milion is not high still left about 13k hands, so we will see

Dunno why but i think that challenge it's from start false just to promote Dwan which joined FTP when it started. And nothing will change that Durr will won it... And not because he is better...

Over 30k hands down that took forever...Now I know I dont play a lot of poker (say 500/1k hands a week if I'm lucky) but this has really dragged on. Dwan has Patrik Antonius on the ropes unless he's gonna do a Isidur1 and go nuts I cant see him coming back from $1,392,760 down. Ouch!
Ofc Dwan is better. Player of the year 2009 in cashtables, that says a lot!
