Hi, yesterday was playing at CelebPoker a DoN of 10 players. The tournament was a little bit strange but ... Anyway, I made my hand, I was chipleader so ... waiting for eliminations. When we were in the bubble, an incredible thing happened. I folded everytime and people who had few chips, raising all-in stealing blinds. When I was SB or BB, two leaders raise. Again and again ... only raising against me. 4 legs like that! What a coincidence! After that, I was 4th, I risked my chips with AQh and 1st, 2nd and 3rd called it!!!! Wtf!!! Who win? A guy with K5! Coincidence? They were playing like a team, I'm sure ...

Didnt want to maention it before, but I can assure you that Double or nothing single table tournaments are all played on collusion in some sites. Most of the guys who play double or nothings 24/7 at same site same stakes have become friends and they make up to 5 man team and collude the table with chatting on msn and telling hands to eachother. And this is not made up story believe, ive been myself in it and know exactly how things work in there . The players I spoke with were top 1-3 sit and go players on that site + many others from top 10. I didnt play those dons much, just enough to understand whats really going on in there. Quit after ive claimed my bonus and reached top 100 in leaderboard, because i find dons really boring.

Simple write to the Live Support its illegal. They will check their SnG history. And eventually ban their acc and you will get your money back. I was cheated like you. It's sucks. Cause you play 1vs4,5,6 players. It's not fair.

YOU"RE ALL COREECT this has happened to me many...many times...but what can I do but complain...nothing every really gets done....why cause you see these same player's doing it all over again...some time I will play them more then once in 3 or 4 different tables..support wants prove then when you provide it it they come up with stuppid response....

The PLO DoN's at iPoker changed drastically the last 4-5 weeks, its either full of mega tight players, or ppl who seem to abuse them, by playing in a team........................ I also got "abused" a few times the last two weeks, but I stoped playing them anyway, I just had to clear my Noble Pokerbonus...
Dunno, its just sad, imo... fucking no brainers...
Some rogue sites organize people that are total strangers to eachother to work together through Skype or MSN. If you report it to the poker site, most will ask YOU for proof and therefor ignore the problem.

on everest poker I had this problem too... two players played a pot and the chipleader raised 800 on the flop. the second player had 850 and went all-in. the chipleader folded and showed his cards. he had a fullhouse.lol

Yeah harsh but if you susspect colusion just contact support on the site to look in to it. Might be that they seen you play tight so pushing against you was easy bet?

they were just fucking with you ) i try not to play DoN's right now because of this , or not really this but stupid players ... when you double up u think the DoN it's over but the short stacks keeps going all in and the BB , SB don't call half of the Big Blind to get rid off them ... just not fair , and you need one more all in to stay in the tourn ....

You are complaining too much. If you played well you should win those DoNs. Ok I know that collussion happens sometimes. But many times you just loose with bad luck. You could however call yourself those shortstacks. Didnt you? Collusion would not help them if you would just finish them off. And if I think players have collusion I always write to the support. On Pokerstars I use 'call moderator' button. And even when they talk not English. Moderators always come and they will not cooperate with moderator on table.

most players in big entry fee tournaments have 2 or 3 friends playing with them....i did that once and me and 2 friends qualified on the last table....all 3 got first 3 places...got 1k $ all 3 of us and we played roulette all night and lost half of it people always cheat...

what were the stack sizes at the moment? Perhaps they calling was the sensible thing to do... Also, buy-in? People at the lower buyins do the craziest things, I wouldn't be so sure of collusion happening, at least not before I can weigh in the answer to those 2 questions.
I've suspected of being victimized by collusion in the past at 9 seat Sng's. I've stopped playing 1 table Sng's because the problem seemed easy to exploit and rather difficult to prove. Collusion can and does happen at cash games as well, even at the micro limits,so hat can you do. Collusion doesn't ensure a win, but does stack the odds in your favor. ALL poker sites have to come up with a better way of identifying and eliminating this problem, even if that means establishing a practice of having these "cheaters" banned from every site concurrently. Casinoes have been known to share info on possible and probable cheaters to great effect so why shouldn't online sites do the same.

it can be hard to find for sure whether it was cheating or not for sure but if you feel like it was then you should write to support ask them to investigate and track these players to see if they collude at other games too.
