The 64-player starting field at the NBC national Heads-up championship was filled with the biggest names in the poker world today. Even for someone who hasn't followed poker for all that long - most of the players who took part in this tournament must be familiar. Nothing like come to the International Women's Day to send a news like this. This even takes more interest considering the field was mainly filled by men. I am no sexist, and i dont like to talk about men superiority, i just think everyone should be treated alike, so everyone gets the same oportunities. Thats democracy!

Mh... I was cheering for Erik, but nevertheless a really good job she did there. Although she should have been busted one or to two games before, when she cracked Wasicka's Kings being all-in with T8o or something.

Well lets just say congratz to the lady... she has played on a great field and come up trumps. There is no reason why women should be at any disadvantage to a man whilst playing poker. Thety have the same skills needed to play as long as they have some fingers to hold the cards then thats that! Women have a hard time breaking into any sport as they have not been given the opertunity to partisipate with the top players in many sports. Now some sports are less even than others for sure like tennis football running gym and such sports where men do have an advantage but the non physical stuff like card and skill games are where women should really start to come good, motor sports and snooker / pool , darts anything like that. I havent tried to be disrespectfull here i hope that comes across.
Well .... ... you make me laugh a little ... I suppose it's a matter of tastes but ... personally I think she could be my mother . I don't know when this picture was made but now she is 45. Her current image is that: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/3/3...
