I guess I have need to tell all you this.
I have stated how I have (had) like 1300 in my pokerstars account. well Today I tried to go up in limits. I bought in with 500$ and was doin fine. then all of a sudden things changed. I was 2nd best for several hands. couldnt fold any of them and in a matter of 45mins my 500 was gone.
Bad run or what I dont know but i wont do that again. lost like 40% of my roll

Catlady, I am terribly sorry to hear that. But do you know where you made the mistake? You probably do, of course and still wanted to take that chance, but with the rest, please take it easy with the bankroll. The big bucks will come for sure, but not all at once, you must have patience! Best of luck to you.

yea the first mistake was bad bankroll management. the second was Playing at a higher level then I am capable, 3rd was being greedy, 4th was not leaving when I was ahead, there are prob more but i dont want to keep beeting myself up

Don´t take this the wrong way, but you SHOULD beat yourself up! Most of he times that is how you learn to not commit the same mistakes over and over, you know? It´s your money, if you lose it all it doesn´t change anything in my life, but of course we all here would like to see you prosper! For that same reason we try to help everyone who is having a hard time with ther poker carreer.

why the hell you are playing on stars ... i would never risk my money on their poker room .. i played here some time many limits many tours many kind of game and i never saw such a quant of bad beats ever ..

hmm i cant blame you for trying this... go big or go home.. if you were to go up 500 from doing this... we would be praising you for a great risk that paid off... it goes both ways...just unlucky ? i guess? eh? look on the bright side still have over 500 in your account !!!!

sick thing just happened... I put a little raise with KQ offsuit, 1 guy calls... flop comes K K 6 so i bet, he reraises me, I think for a bit and doubt he has 66 or AK so I reraise him triple. He just calls and turn comes 10. He goes all in for the little he had left and I call him.

lol i'm not even mad anymore about this cuz its happened 3 times tonight. just gotta laugh at it. I'm holding 2 5 offsuit on BB so I get to check; Flop: 3 6 4 rainbow. Its 1 on 1, he puts me all in and I think to myself YES CASH TIME. So we're both all in and he shows me 66. Turn: 3 and from where I just close the table in laughter.

Catlady, thats very depressing. Well from what you say your a pretty good and well expierenced poker player and you'll make it all back in due time. Also happy V-Day everyone

WOW, a big loss but that probably made you better by realizing your mistakes. And I though losing my $50 bankroll was a big mistake!! BTW I learned a lot in the processing of losing them

CATLADY what the hell were you doing?? I just recieved your msg on msn, it was velentines here in OZ so i was out with the GF. What the hell did i tell you about bankroll management and how to chose your limits? lol, anyway i should be online more so i might be able to help you.
