dont play drunk. Been playing tonight and I got ig in some tourneys. But then in thought I could beat all postflop but when u dont hit cards its hard so beers and poker is not the best combo

You need to drink as long as the cards start running! I think you stopped too early - next time, dont stop with few beers, take a whole package, and you will start winnin !

Its a very debatable question.. I oftern play when i've been drinking but i know i dont have my best games when i'm tired so drinking is the lesser of two evils for me//...lol Drinking can relax you and put you in a good frame of mind and that will help you poker IMO but if / when you are either very drunk or well on the way you will make some poor decissions for sure. Drink does affect your decission making process. That person that calls your all in with A6o when your holding AA and sucks out with trip 6s by the river... he's drunk or just very stupid. So drunk or stupid...doesnt really matter they are the biggest hurdle you'll need to jump in every tourny . But its a fine line between feeling loose and comftable and making poor decissions. Be carfull if you do drink and play but if you have a drinking problem ie you dont know when to stop its never a good idea to start a game of poker defo a tourny , a SnG takes approx an hour so that would be ok. Just stay on top of what you are doing and drinking shouldnt be an issue.

alcohol lowers reaction speed and weakens ability to fully understand situation. being drunk is not allowed driving and working, so its your own choice, if you want to be drunk, when you play with your money.

I've lost about a fifth of my roll. Not a very big amount for many of you but still !! Problem was i started out fine, getting the relaxing beers but then i got too much and got too confident But now I'm sober again and I'll try winning it back
