Best stragety for increasing your bankroll  0
Alot of people have thier own way of playing and increasing thier bankroll. Me, i like to play sit n go's until ive trebled my bankroll then move up a level and try and treble it again only and if i manage that i usually then start to play cash games and tourney's i recon its the best way?

Any one else got any good bankroll stragety's? Dollar

This is my strategy:

$50 - $100 = 0,5/0,10

$150 - $200 = 0,10/0,25

$250 - $400 = 0,25/0,50

Etc..

Btw do you mean with treble tripple??

to be honest i allways played with no bankrollstrategy,but bankroll=stack.
Sick , i know but i couldnt play this lowlimit :S.
Maybe a reason why my bankroll looks like this : 0.12$
lol.
Normally if you play fixed limit u should have 250 bb of ur limit as br.
Nl at least 25 stacks

i play sit n gos as well i think its the best stradegy to build your bankroll till u can afford to play 10$ tourneys n stuff like dat.

The best startegy is very simpel never play poker when ur not in shape if you follow that simpel rule i promise your bankroll will slowly grow big.

If you want to play safely, to avoid getting broke, it is good to have

30 buy-ins for SNG's (ex : you have 150$, you play SNG's with a 5$ or less buy-in)
50 buy-ins for MTT's (ex : you have 200$, you play MTT that are 4$ or less buy-in)
20 Full buy-ins for Cash Game (100BB usually) (ex : you have 500, you play Nl25 or less)

This is because the variance is not very big for SNG's but it is for MTT's.

This is to play real safely though, you can adjust these as you wish.

i recommend, is u wanna be sure in ur game, i think u need 100 buy-ins of the anterior level, and 10 of the level ur playing, just for security

200= NL2
300= Nl5
600= NL10

Just take 5-10% of your bankroll then go play the lowest NL table for your first trip. if you think you've gained enough bankroll and experience then move up. when you feel that you're starting to get those streak of bad hands then its a signal to stand up then play later. Thumbs Up

one which i call the daredevil strategy, is going in for a 10 dollar buyin on a cashtable, loose everything, go onto blackjack go in with like 5$ and then if you win go in with 1$ then probably you loose, then go allin. and there you go ! doubled your bankroll. usually works for me, but still its a risk hehe^^ so dont try it if you're carefull about your money

lol, anything involving black jack is a bad idea Big Smile

another cool strategy is, buy in minimum on a FL table. when u can afford the next level, go there. if u got as little as 20 $ u can play 2/4 $ FL and thats kinda cool Big Smile

This is my strategy:

$50 - $100 = 0,5/0,10

$150 - $200 = 0,10/0,25

$250 - $400 = 0,25/0,50

Etc..

I myself use this strategy and my bankroll is at $225 at the moment this is starting from $50

I do play a sng once in a while but I usually stick with the cash games

Yeah, going into a FL table is the best way specially if you're a beginner like me. took my lessons from there although i still lost some but it helps me to learn more about the game.

one more thing, are we allowed to use our bankroll for playing blackjacks here?

I really havent started Bankroll management till this last 3 weeks where I was able to deposit money and still have money. ( NOT LOSE IT ALL)

BR management is a very fine quality to have, it took me many years to achieve and I think ive finally reached it

I find sit and goes really good to increase my bankroll.

I only play them in a 1:10 ratio buyin to bankroll

eg.. if i have $100 ill play $10 SnG's till i get to $150($15) or $200($20)

Thats a good idea katanastylz,

But when ever I do try this which I have before I notice I go on a bad streak ( Lose 3 or 4 in a row or bubble the last 3 sngs or something) which will make me lose my br management.
