well recently i wrote about joining a staking site to see how it would go ..... so i thought a little update was in order
Well so far so good ... managed to get a couple of small $2 stakes to start with which i made a profit on ... then won another $2 stake to do with as i felt like ... so decided to do a bankroll builder for a month which ended running into this month and finishes Friday coming ........... at the moment have it up to $75 which will be split with my staker (50/50 but he said im doing well he will make it 70/30 to me )
My plan was to work hard at this and show what i can do and see can i put in for a Bap e.g put up a plan for games i want to play and look for backers to buy shares
So on Friday i put one together to play sng and if i win any to take a % of the win put it aside to play mtt ....... and i was looking for $150 to do this ......
So far i have $90 and one more week to find more backers .... But Admin told me it should sell out no problem as my month long stake has given me a lot of interest
So overall im really happy with joing the staking site ..... getting on well with the other regulars ... and finding there willing to stake and back people who are reliable and follow the rules.
So would this suit everyone ...... Dont Know ...... if you are making money you might not see the point of splitting youre winnings
But then you might be interested in backing others to make some money
But for me i see it as a way of always having money to play with .... plus would also be interested in backing people when i have a bankroll that could support it
Well thats it for now will let you know how my $150 Bap goes and whether i build it up or not ..... i start playing with it the 1st of May and it runs till the end of May

GL photolong, Iv looked at a few sites withe reguards to backing PPL in games I dont think id go the distance in, but never got around to doing it. Perhaps I might even put myself up for staking, my stats are OK, but I mainly play ring games, so not sure id drum up intrest. Think id have to give away more than id want.

About the giving away more than you want bit ..... normally the cut is set by the staker ... but from what iv seen its not set in stone eg ive seen people do well in stakes and the staker then increased there cut ....
But as i find out more and get more experience ill write about it ..... then people will have some facts and information about the whole area and it will give them a idea if its for them
But you have to realise the whole things is based on trust and a lot of people abuse it so when starting off you have to be prepared to start small LIKE I DID ..... thats why i was only given small stakes to start with ...... eg if i run off with $2 it dosent hurt them too much ..... where as now they are willing to risk $150 on me

The site iv been looking at acts as a holder. So say im backing you, you would have to pay out of your own funds to play, then when you do play the site will take my funds transfer to you and vice versa, well thats the drift I get. But can see how someone could hit a 1st place and not pay out any $ to those willing to back. But at least that way the backer would not lose.

Are you getting cash up front?
Ye Friday they will transfer the money individually to my pokerstars account .... so you see they have to put a lot of trust in you ..... not only that i dont run off with it but that if i win big i will transfer the winnings back to them..........
