How to keep a record of my winnings/losses?  0
Hello, I would like to have an example, of what to note
actually I'm keeping record of buy-ins (I play on DON sng's), then the result, winning or loss with the hour and day I played, but nothing more
should I add something to make it better? Im alrdy gonna start adding in case of loss, with what hand did I actually lost, and what situation etc

waiting for your wisdom

just make a simple excel spreadsheet, easy to update each time you play

Software like Poker Tracker 3 or Holdem manager are great.. I personally prefer Poker Tracker 3.

But like Goliathfirst said, Microsoft Excel is really easy to work with & it can help you Smile

Excel spreadsheet if you want to just keep record
Holdem Manager if you want to keep record and analyze your progress

You might want to add: on which place you ended, how many games and how much time you played!
So you can track average place / winnings, after how much time you get tired / start to play bad etc.

Not so important is the hand you lost with, because you can win a hand although you played it poorly or lose although you played it excatly right. ( read your HH's !)
Good luck Smile

Get PokerTracker or something like that. Last time I checked you could grab a license for less than $100

Otherwise, a cheaper solution is to set up a simple DB. Nothing too fancy, Access will do fine.

If not technically oriented, just make an Excel and be done with it Tongue

Hi Pitiless.

The best you can do is buy a good poker software. Is the better way to analize your play and your results. I think that when a poker player have a bank of more than 500$ must buy one.

Bye!!
