Just wanted to share some bad beats with you guys. I feel if i get them off my chest i will start feeling better lol.
Early stages of a tournament. I get AJ suit. I raise 3x and get one caller. Flop comes K 10 Q. Awesome i flopped a straight. I'm first to act and i raise 4x. Guy behind me shoves.... Hmm, what can he have...probably AJ also i put him on. So i call his all in, expecting maybe he has a set or the same hand as me. He flips his cards.... 2 pair. Kings and Jacks. Awesome i have him dominated Turn comes... Jack. He hits his Full house
Second bad bet...
I have Pocket 6s. One seat behind me is a LAP. I slow play him and call his normal min raise, hoping to hit a set on the flop.
Flop comes 8 6 4 rainbow, i hit my set, He raises, i re raise. He shoves. He flips over Pocket 7s. Of course the turn comes, 5 and river 3... He hits his straight.
AA I raise 4x and get two callers. Flop comes As 7d 5d I am first to act so i raise slightly more than 4x the pot. I tried to push everyone off the pot just incase they were on a Flush draw. First guy fold second guy shoves all in.... I put him on a possible flush draw or 3 of a kind aswel. But no, surely no one would be so stupid to risk their entire stack on a draw.... I call, he flips over KdQs. Of course the turn and river come with 2 more diamonds to give him the flush...
Bad beats will make me go insane one day.. But it wont stop me playing poker lol.

mate me too...just played the brm wsop qualifier...i hit my trips on the flop and push all in, some douche calls me with only a gut shot straight draw and somehow manages to hit!! bloody ridiculous

Yeah i'm sure you all have had your share of bad beats. Really sucks sometimes. Just had my Aces crushed about 10 mins ago on the bubble of a $3 buy lol. Must be bad beat celebration week or something
------------ The worst i had was 2 days ago. I had been playing so tight, Over an hour into the tournament I get dealt AK suited so i make a raise, preflop. 4 people call the raise. Flop comes down. A 8 5. So i bet 3x pot. Everyone folds except one donk who shoves all his chips.... I thought maybe he had two pair but i called anyway. He flips over 8 / J offsuit. So not only did he call a 3x preflop raise with a weak hand, he shoved with a pair of 8s. The turn comes down as 2. The river..... J. I swear i almost lost it... The donk immediately says sorry, and that he though i was bluffing................ LOL
3 Hands later he loses all my hard earned chips and i end up going out of the tournament about 30 mins after....
------------ I think from now the min buy in i will play will be $9-$11 or higher.... Too many donks at lower levels.

When it comes to hold em, I agree with you - the higher the buy in, the better the field! Ofc there are some french fries in every stake, but play quality and table image is a lot better in higher levels.
Tho I believe you played in partypoker and as its gambling site more than poker, im not sure the table image will go better in higher levels lol.
