Hello fellow mobsters i was thinking of doing another tourny. i was going to do it on fulltilt this time as it was an even worse turn out on Pstars. So what do u lot think of wed 26th may. the people in the last tourny agreed on a $10 buy in to as it makes it worth while winning. I did the $5 buy in the last time and all the people who did the whining did not even turn up . I think wed is the best day, others have said sunday but i for one will be playing some big tournys and i think alot of others will be too. So what u think, should we maybe make it a week after give people more time? PS elders of the mob il be coming to hunt u down
After what happened to me on PS last time, I found that I'm never going to be able to play there... so only way for me to play it, it will have to be only at Full Tilt and the buy in not bigger than $5. I'm free on quite all days except Saturdays and Mondays.

Good on you flippedchips for trying again despite the poor turnouts so far. The thing is whatever day you make it, whatever site you choose, whatever buy-in some people will complain. It's not possible to satisfy everyone. There are too many contributing factors to ever have one tourney that will come close to satisfying the majority.
I actually think that there isn't as much interest in a BRM buy-in tourney as I thought there would be. It's a shame as I think a league to see who are the best players at BRM would have been a good idea.
As for my preferences, for now I can only play on full tilt or bwin but that will likely change in six weeks time. I would be happy with a 5$ buy in but ideally not on friday or saturday.

I'd love to play in these tournies, but unfortunately I share the problem US people have, namely that being on time zones so different it makes it impossible to have both east and west hemispheres join in the action...

Im up for it for 10$ or 5$ however the mob mafia likes , but only in case Im home - my wifes pregnant and yesterday it was the official day...so any time now Im gonna spend some days in hospital with my wife and newborn . But when I make it back on time I will take part of it thistime

maybe i will give a BRM buy in tournement a try also , i did not in the past for several reasons but maybe it's not a bad idea at all to play against some other mobsters for some cash . as about the buy in , 5 $ or 10 $ would be fine for me , FT or pokerstars does not make much difference however that i prefer pokerstars or even better and that would be party poker .

OK Flippedchips................. I'm in...DEFO! FTP Wed 26th $10 as long as its after 6pm GMT (then i'll be home from work) 7pm would be fantastic? I'll have to make up for the last 2 I've missed.

I'm in , as usual. I would prefer $5, as I keep losing these things and my bankroll will suffer... I don't think it makes much of a difference anyway, and quite a few would prefer $5 like me, it looks like. I'd like to see a real players field this time, so maybe better not to exclude those that can't afford it. And if enough show up, the prize will be worth it.
I play these for the fun! It's fun to play against the reg posters here. It really is! (for those who haven't participated yet).

I prefer $5 too... It's not too hight... so more players can play the tournment... if you put the buy-ins $10... a lot of guys won't play, because it'll undermine much of the bankroll' IMO' ^^

im happy to do a $5 buy in but all the people who have wanted the $5 did not turn up and there was more when we did the $10 more turned up and it made it better as people want to win more
